Visitors are welcome, too, every day of the week at this charming club not far away at Grange. With a newly-appointed professional team, and the idyllic seaside location, it's easy to see why this is judged one of the best golf courses in the Lake District. It's a mature "MacKenzie-designed" course offering something for everyone, whatever your skill level. The well-kept level fairways make the course easy for beginners. Yet the challenging layout and good all-year-round greens make it an ideal test for the lower handicapper. It's on the picturesque Lake District Peninsula only 20 minutes from Jct. 36 off the M6.
